The SS22M RS is a series of power semiconductor modules from Taiwan Semiconductor. They are designed for high current, high frequency, and high linearity applications, such as motor control, solar power systems, and motor drives. The SS22M RS series contains three models- SS22M20R, SS22M30R, and SS22M50R. These modules feature a common base-emitter configuration and are constructed from high-power silicon oxide thickness epitaxy field effect transistors (FETs). The devices also have soft-start and current limit features to aid thermal management and help reduce switching losses. The SS22M RS modules are easily integrated into existing systems and come with features like over-temperature protection, transient current absorption and other protection mechanisms.
