's research Stig Ravn's research focused on the development of protein structures and the methods used to study them. Specifically, he studied how proteins fold into their structures and how they interact with other molecules and their environment. He studied the thermodynamic, kinetic and conformational properties of proteins and developed models to explain their folding and energy landscapes. Additionally, Ravn studied protein-protein interactions and the physics of protein-ligand interactions and their implications for drug design. He used X-ray crystallography, spectroscopy, NMR and computational simulations to study the dynamics of proteins and their interactions with the environment.
