MP3336 Dual-Channel, Flash LED Driver 2 with 2A/Ch and I C Interface The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES 2.7V~5.5V Input Voltage The MP3336 is a compact, dual-channel, high- 1/2/3/4MHz Selectable Max Switching power, flash, LED driver that can drive up to 2A in Frequency flash mode for each LED. It is usually applied for Switching Frequency Fold-back Function camera phones to improve image and video 2 quality in low-light environments. The MP3336 400kHz I C Compatible Interface operates with a selectable 1/2/3/4MHz switching Standby/Flash/Assist/Torch/Indicator/5V DC frequency and uses a synchronous, current-mode Modes PWM boost converter to regulate the LED current Flash Mode with two high-current sources. The MP3336 Up to 2A/Ch Programmable Current with provides high efficiency and an optimized solution 7% Accuracy for Each LED, 7.84mA/Step for smaller PCB spaces. Assist/Torch Mode 2 Up to 319mA/Ch Programmable Current The MP3336 features a standard I C interface, with 7% Accuracy for Each LED, dual LED channels, rich protection modes, and 1.25mA/Step high power density and performances. The Indicator Mode MP3336 can also support flash, assist, torch, Works in 31.5kHz PWM Dimming Mode with indicator, and 5V DC modes. 2/16, 3/16, 4/16, 5/16 Duty Cycle The cathodes of the dual-flash LED are Used for Blinking and 128/256/512ms referenced to GND, which is better for improving Selectable Blinking Time thermal performance in layout.
