24LC01B-E/P Microchip

The Microchip 24LC01B-E/P is a 1-Kbit (1024 bits) Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM). It is offered in an 8-pin, 200 mil SOIC package and is available with a variety of operating speeds and access times. This device includes an internal data retention circuit which ensures data retention in the case of power loss. The 24LC01B-E/P has an 8-bit wide, two-wire Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) that provides an interface between host processor and Serial EEPROM. The device is capable of both byte and page write operations, and features an auto-incrementing address pointer for sequential access. Its simple Serial Interface also permits easy daisy chaining with peripheral devices. The 24LC01B-E/P is compatible with a wide range of devices, making it suitable for use in a variety of applications.
