The ES7154 is a multi-channel Codec IC manufactured by Everest Semiconductor. It is packaged in a 14-pin SOP (Small Outline Package) and is compliant with the RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) Directive. The IC features two channels with Enhanced Wideband Mono / stereo Codecs with 8-bit PCM and ADPCM data formats and versatile input gain control. It also features an on-chip low noise microphone bias, 20 dB Line Input Engage Switch, I2C control, low power operation, low power standby, external CLK synchronization capability, and ability to drive independent analog paths for both transmit and receive outputs. The IC also includes provisions to interface to external power amps, headset detection, remote control, earpiece sensor, FM radio, dual MICs and speaker control.
