LLE4P-DC-VT (Low Latency E4 Phase Delay Closeout-Voting Threshold) is a voting threshold algorithm that is part of the Digital Noise Gate (DNG) feature on audio products. It is designed to provide the lowest possible latency when dealing with noise gate applications. It works by analyzing the signal and detecting when the threshold has reached a level before open or closed points. Once that level is reached, it then executes an action, either closing or opening the noise gate depending on the situation. The algorithm also looks at frequency, level and transient information when making decisions. This algorithm can help reduce latency when dealing with noise gates, allowing for higher priority of critical audio signals and less noticable latency when monitoring in a mix room.
