MAX17270/MAX17271 nanoPower Triple-Output, Single-Inductor, Multiple-Output (SIMO) Buck-Boost Regulator General Description Benefits and Features The MAX17270/MAX17271 are 3-output switching 3-Output, Single-Inductor, Multiple-Output (SIMO) regulators designed for applications requiring efficient Buck-Boost Regulator regulation of multiple supplies in a very small space, such 2.7V to 5.5V Input Voltage Range as wearable electronic devices. Low-Power and Long Battery Life The parts use a buck-boost architecture that regulates 1.3A Operating Current (3 SIMO Channels) three outputs using a single, small 2.2H inductor at 330nA Shutdown Current efficiencies up to 85%. This results in smaller board space 85% Efficiency at 3.3V Output while delivering better total system efficiency than equivalent Flexible and Configurable power solutions using one buck and linear regulators. 2 I C-Compatible Interface (MAX17271) The supply current is 0.85A when only one output is Programmable Output Voltage: 0.8V to 5.175V enabled, plus 0.2A for each additional output enabled.
