The HMC1113LP5ETR is an integrated, dual-channel, quadrature modulator designed for Ku-band satellite communication systems. The device uses up-down converters to separate and process the incoming data, converting it to low power I/Q digital signals for transmission on a satellite communication link. The HMC1113 provides extended frequency range coverage from 10600MHz to 12750MHz with a maximum total gain of 20 dB and an output of up to +15 dBm transmit power at -35 dBc Intermodulation Products (IM3). With a total power consumption of only 4.5 W, the HMC1113LP5ETR is highly efficient and cost-effective compared to traditional Ku-Band demodulator design architectures. Additional features include an integrated doubler to double the frequency range for even higher frequency coverage, a low noise figure of 7.7/7.7 dB, and integrated low-pass filters for better suppression of out-of-band interference.
