About Active Filters

Active Filters

Active Filters are electronic filters that use amplifiers and feedback circuits to shape the frequency response of a signal. They are typically used to amplify or attenuate specific frequencies in a signal. Active filters have the advantage of adjustable parameters and a high degree of flexibility in how they respond to signals, making them ideal solutions when an application needs to change the characteristics of a signal. They are also more accurate than passive filters. Active filters are typically used in high-end audio applications where quality and accuracy are important, such as in mixing boards and audio effects units.
