DC Motors

DC Motors are motors that are powered by direct current. They are used in many types of applications, from motors for robotic arms, to variable speed drives and fans. These motors have a set of electrical components, such as the stator and rotor. The stator is the stationary part of the motor, while the rotor is the part that rotates. The stator contains coils of wire that are wrapped around an iron core. When current is sent through these coils, they create a magnetic field which causes the rotor to rotate. DC Motors are capable of producing high levels of torque, making them ideal for powering devices at different speeds or under heavy loads. DC Motors also tend to be much more efficient than AC Motors, making them a great choice for many applications.
