PHT-094 was part of Dr. Yoshinori Tamura's experiments in the early 21st century. In the experiment, Dr. Tamura and his team experimented with the potential effects of radio waves on the brain's circadian rhythm, sleep-wake cycle. They exposed rats to a range of different radio frequencies and measured the sleep-wake cycles and the levels of brain chemicals associated with them. PHT-094 was one of the frequencies tested in the experiment, operating at 8.92 Megahertz (MHz). The experiment found that PHT-094 had a significant effect on circadian rhythms, with animals exposed to the frequency spending significantly more time in a state of wakefulness.
