The DS1232N is a Microprocessor & Microcontroller Supervisors made by HTC Korea. It is a DIP-8 RoHS type package. The DS1232N uses an enhanced version of the well-known W5300/4 and is used for Advanced Power Failure Management. It is a low-power supervisor circuit which includes an on-chip RAM, ROM, watchdog timer, low/high voltage detect, and several other power management features. It provides a reset action when an out-of-tolerance voltage is detected and an early warning of under voltage and lockout of reset and reset acknowledgement signals. The DS1232N is ideal for advanced system reset, power failure management and UPS applications.
