It includes a monolithic sensing element and an IC interface which 26 to 126 kPa absolute pressure range communicates a digital signal from the sensing High-resolution mode: 1 Pa RMS element to the application. Low-power mode: 3.5 Pa RMS The sensing element, which detects absolute pressure, consists of a suspended membrane Current consumption down to 4 A inside a single mono-silicon substrate and is High overpressure capability: 20x full scale manufactured using a dedicated process Embedded temperature compensation developed by ST. Embedded 24-bit ADC The membrane is very small compared to the ODR from 1 Hz to 75 Hz traditionally built silicon micromachined membranes. Membrane breakage is prevented SPI and IC interfaces by an intrinsic mechanical stopper.
