Additional Infomation About Product

The RTC8563MSF is a low-power Real-Time Clock (RTC) part with an MSOP-8 package and RoHS compliance manufactured by LOWPOWER. This part is designed to keep time using an oscillator and lithium cell or super-capacitor even in the absence of power. This RTC part operates with an I²C interface and is designed to last for up to 10 years. Features of this part include a programmable timer with selectable operating intervals, clock alarms, timer interrupt every 4.1 s, and automatic time-zone calculation. Communication with this part is achieved through an I²C serial communications bus. This device is ideally suited for applications such as data loggers, industrial control systems, and satellite monitoring systems.
