The UC2843BN is a current-mode PWM (pulse width modulation) controller from STMicroelectronics. This input controlled device designed for use with external N-channel power MOSFETs and operates as an adjustable frequency switch mode regulator with pulse-by-pulse current limiting. It features a variety of circuit architectures and is ideal for a range of applications, including motor-control, switched-mode power supplies, and DC-to-DC converters. The device includes a wide range of features, such as programmable duty cycle control and protection circuitry, enhanced line and load regulation, and soft start and shutdown capabilities.
