The PT4456-TP is an RF Transceiver IC from Princeton, manufactured in a SOT-23-6 (Small Outline Transistor with 6 leads) package that's compliant with the RoHS directive. It is designed for low power wireless applications and features an integrated voltage regulator, analog front end, data converter, and power amplifier. It has an operating frequency range of 2.4 to 2.5 GHz and is capable of up to 20dB of output power for +20dBm transmissions. Its low power consumption of 28mA in RX mode and 36mA in TX mode makes it suitable for battery powered applications. It supports secure data transmission with a high degree of encryption and selection of ARP. It is also equipped with an Integrated Temperature Sensor to monitor the internal temperature of the device.
