Wide Output Voltage Range: 0.8 V to 80% V IN The FAN2108 contains both synchronous MOSFETs 8 A Output Current and a controller/driver with optimized interconnects in Programmable Frequency Operation: 200 KHz to one package, which enables designers to solve high- 600 KHz current requirements in a small area with minimal external components. Over 95% Peak Efficiency External compensation, programmable switching Integrated Schottky Diode on Low-side MOSFET frequency, and current limit features allow design Boosts Efficiency optimization and flexibility. Internal Bootstrap diode The summing current mode modulator uses lossless Power-Good Signal current sensing for current feedback and over-current Pre-Bias Startup protection. Voltage feedforward helps operation over a wide input voltage range. Accepts Ceramic Capacitors on Output Fairchilds advanced BiCMOS power process, combined External Compensation for Flexible Design with low-R internal MOSFETs and a thermally DS(ON) Input Under-Voltage Lockout efficient MLP package, provide the ability to dissipate Programmable Current Limit high power in a small package.
