The A13-SOM-512 is an embedded computer system-on-module (SOM) produced by Olimex. It is based on the Allwinner A13 ARM Cortex A8 processor, which is the same one used in many popular Android tablets. The module features 512 MB DDR3 RAM, 8 GB NAND flash memory and a variety of digital and analog peripherals, including a 10/100 Ethernet controller, four USB 2.0 ports, an LCD controller, and a variety of other interfaces. The SOM also offers a complete range of software development tools, including full GNU/Linux support and support for popular open-source Operating Systems such asÊ Phobos, Android and Ubuntu. This makes it the perfect solution for embedded systems development. The SOM measures just 100 x 52 mm and uses a standard MIPI-DSI display interface, allowing for easy integration into any hardware project. It is an affordable, compact and feature-packed solution for embedded systems development.
