The Nexperia 74HC74PW.112 is a dual D-type Flip-Flop with preset and clear, a type of integrated circuit (IC) used in digital and analog circuit design. It is part of the larger 74HC/HCT family of ICs which have been designed to be as compatible as possible with 7400 series devices and offer improved performance over the original devices. The dual D-type Flip-Flop has two latched data inputs, a preset and a clear signal input, and two outputs, D and Q. The IC is typically used for controlling digital systems and for data storage for both synchronous and asynchronous applications. The Flip-Flops can be used in digital sequencing, phase-locked loop circuitry, frequency division and a variety of other digital systems. The Nexperia 74HC74PW.112 is a small-scale integration device that is available in a SOIC-16 package with a minimum temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius.
