Additional Infomation About Product

The Nexperia 74HC191PW.112 is a 4-bit synchronous reversible binary up/down counter IC. The device operates with a power supply ranging from 1.65V to 5.5V and is ideally suited for battery-powered applications. It has an asynchronous master reset input (MR) and an up/down control input (UD). A high level on UD sets the counter to count up mode and a low level sets the counter to count down mode. The clock (CP) inputs are active-high and all counter stages share the same clock. The counter has four outputs (Q0-Q3) which provide the count sequence in either binary or Johnson's code format. In addition, the device also supports a maximum count (MAXCNT) pin which is used to indicate when the counter has reached its maximum value.
