The Nexperia 74HC123D.652 is a dual retriggerable monostable multivibrators that contain two independent multivibrators. Each multivibrator has a trigger and a reset input. When the trigger input receives a signal, the output goes high for the period of time determined by the externally chosen external capacitor and resistor combination. When the reset input is activated, the output goes low immediately and remains low until the trigger input is activated again. The outputs of the two multivibrators are complementary. The outputs of the 74HC123D.652 retain the logic level A logic high level is set on the output when the trigger input is activated, regardless of the logic level of the reset input. The integral Schmitt action on the trigger input yields a jitter-free and pulse width independent output signal. The 74HC123D.652 is typically used for delay generation and in pulse-width modulated motor controls.
