TechnologyThe USB3320C-EZK-TR is an integrated circuit (IC) produced by Microchip Technology for USB (Universal Serial Bus) interfaces. This component is intended for use in mobile and portable device applications. The USB3320C-EZK-TR is a ULPI (1.8V USB Low Pin Interface) compliant, high-speed IC that supports OTG (On The Go) and USB 2.0 functionality. This full-speed IC features a built-in voltage regulator which enables connectivity to host and USB devices. Its built-in, programmable clock allows for a 1- and 2-phase 480 Mbps transmission from the USB host to the device. The design also features a reset-based charger detection as well as auto-charging support. The USB3320C-EZK-TR offers configurable hardware and features such as programmable location of parallel bus interface, power pin control, and hot-swap mode. It also provides power short-circuit protection, battery charging, and over-current protection.
