The USB2517-JZX is an Ultra Fast USB 2.0 Flash Media with USB Interface IC manufactured by Microchip. It is a single-channel, Multiple-Transaction Translator (MTT) USB 2.0 Audio/Video (AV) bridge device. It supports USB to I2S, S/PDIF, or CVBS audio/video interfaces, and supports both video and audio streams. It also provides a low-power interface between a host and I2S digital audio devices. The USB2517-JZX’s USB 2.0 compliant interface allows bandwidths of up to 480 Mbps, ensuring that audio and video streams can be reliably transferred between the host and connected devices. Additionally, high data rate transfers can be achieved with maximum throughput of up to 960 Mbps. The USB2517-JZX also provides a dynamic reference clock, thus eliminating the need for an external reference clock source.
