MIC5207 180 mA Low-Noise LDO Regulator Features General Description Output Voltage Range: 1.8V 15V The MIC5207 is an efficient linear voltage regulator with ultra-low-noise output, very low dropout voltage Ultra-Low-Noise Output (typically 17 mV at light loads and 165 mV at 150 mA), High Output Voltage Accuracy and very low ground current (720 A at 100 mA Guaranteed 180 mA Output output). The MIC5207 offers better than 3% initial Low Quiescent Current accuracy. Low Dropout Voltage Designed especially for hand-held, battery-powered Extremely Tight Load and Line Regulation devices, the MIC5207 includes a CMOS or TTL Very Low Temperature Coefficient compatible enable/shutdown control input. When in shutdown, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Current and Thermal Limiting Reversed-Battery Protection Key MIC5207 features include a reference bypass pin to improve its already low-noise performance, Zero Off-Mode Current reversed-battery protection, current limiting, and over Logic-Controlled Electronic Enable temperature shutdown. Applications The MIC5207 is available in fixed and adjustable output Cellular Telephones voltage versions in a small SOT-23-5 package.
