MIC5203 Cap 80mA Low-Dropout Regulator General Description Features The MIC5203 is a Cap 80mA linear voltage regulator with Tiny 4- and 5-lead surface-mount packages very low dropout voltage (typically 20mV at light loads and Wide selection of output voltages 300mV at 80mA) and very low ground current (225A at Guaranteed 80mA output 20mA output), offering better than 3% initial accuracy with Low quiescent current a logic-compatible enable input. Low dropout voltage TheCap regulator design is optimized to work with low- value, low-cost ceramic capacitors. The outputs typically Low temperature coefficient require only 0.47F of output capacitance for stability. Current and thermal limiting Designed especially for hand-held, battery-powered Reversed input polarity protection devices, the MIC5203 can be controlled by a CMOS or Zero off-mode current TTL compatible logic signal. When disabled, power Logic-controlled shutdown consumption drops nearly to zero.
