MIC2155 Two-Phase Single-Output PWM Synchronous Buck Control IC Features General Description Synchronous Buck Control IC with Outputs The MIC2155 is a two-phase, single-output Switching 180 Degrees Out of Phase synchronous buck control IC that features small size, Remote Sensing with Internal Differential high efficiency, and a high level of flexibility. The IC Amplifier implements a 500 kHz Voltage mode PWM control with 4.5V-to-14.5V Input Voltage Range the outputs switching 180 degrees out of phase. The Adjustable Output Voltages down to 0.7V result of the out-of-phase operation is 1 MHz (or 600 1% Output Voltage Accuracy kHz) input ripple with ripple current cancellation, Starts up into a Pre-biased Output minimizing the required input filter capacitance. A 1% 500 kHz PWM Operation output voltage tolerance allows the maximum level of Adaptive Gate Drive allows Efficiencies of over system performance. Internal drivers with adaptive 95% gate drive allow the highest efficiency with the Adjustable Current Limit with no Sense Resistor minimum external components. Senses Low-Side MOSFET Current Two independent enable pins and a power good output Internal Drivers allow 25A per Phase are provided, allowing a high level of control and Power Good Output allows Simple Sequencing sequencing capability. Dual Enable Pins with Micro-Power Shutdown The MIC2155 has an operating junction temperature and UVLO ranging from 40C to +125C.
