The MCP25025-I/P is a stand-alone LIN transceiver from Microchip. It features an integrated voltage regulator, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of automotive applications. The device is compliant with the LIN 2.0A and LIN 2.1A standards, and operates at a voltages of 2.0 - 5.5V. It also features an integrated slew rate limiter, which helps control in-rush currents and protects against damage to the device. Additionally, the device also includes a standby mode, helping to minimize power consumption. The transceiver eliminates the need for external components, helping to reduce costs and board space.
