MAX5154/MAX5155 19-1316 Rev 1 12/97 Low-Power, Dual, 12-Bit Voltage-Output DACs with Serial Interface General Description Features 12-Bit Dual DAC with Internal Gain of +2V/V The MAX5154/MAX5155 low-power, serial, voltage-out- put, dual 12-bit digital-to-analog converters (DACs) Rail-to-Rail Output Swing consume only 500A from a single +5V (MAX5154) or 12s Settling Time +3V (MAX5155) supply. These devices feature Rail-to- Single-Supply Operation: +5V (MAX5154) Rail output swing and are available in a space-saving +3V (MAX5155) 16-pin QSOP package. To maximize the dynamic range, the DAC output amplifiers are configured with an Low Quiescent Current: 500A (normal operation) internal gain of +2V/V. 2A (shutdown mode) SPI/QSPI and Microwire Compatible The 3-wire serial interface is SPI/QSPI and Microwire compatible.
