The MAX1968EUI+T is an integrated, power-management specialized PMIC power driver for Peltier TEC modules manufactured by Analog Devices. It is specially designed to provide efficient and accurate control of thermoelectric coolers (TECs). The device includes a pulse-width modulated (PWM) output for controlling the TEC's current, low-side current sensing to regulate the average TEC dissipation, overcurrent protection, an external latching shutdown feature, and an integrated, temperature-compensated, voltage reference. It can operate with supply voltages ranging from 2.7 to 15V, and integrates a range of safety features such as overcurrent protection, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown to protect the system from excess power dissipation. The device also offers high accuracy and low power consumption, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring precise temperature control.
