MAX1471 315MHz/434MHz Low-Power, 3V/5V ASK/FSK Superheterodyne Receiver General Description Benefits and Features The MAX1471 low-power, CMOS, superheterodyne, ASK and FSK Demodulated Data on Separate RF dual-channel receiver is designed to receive both Outputs amplitude-shift-keyed (ASK) and frequency-shift-keyed Specified over Automotive -40C to +125C (FSK) data without reconfiguring the device or introducing Temperature Range any time delay normally associated with changing Low Operating Supply Voltage Down to 2.4V modulation schemes. The MAX1471 requires few external On-Chip 3V Regulator for 5V Operation components to realize a complete wireless RF digital data Low Operating Supply Current receiver for the 300MHz to 450MHz ISM bands. 7mA Continuous Receive Mode The MAX1471 includes all the active components required 1.1A Deep-Sleep Mode in a superheterodyne receiver including: a lownoise Discontinuous Receive (DRX) Low-Power amplifier (LNA), an image-reject (IR) mixer, a fully Management integrated phase-locked loop (PLL), local oscillator (LO), Fast-On Startup Feature < 250s 10.7MHz IF limiting amplifier with received-signal strength indicator (RSSI), low-noise FM demodulator, and a Integrated PLL, VCO, and Loop Filter 3V voltage regulator. Differential peak-detecting data 45dB Integrated Image Rejection demodulators are included for both the FSK and ASK RF Input Sensitivity* analog baseband data recovery. The MAX1471 includes ASK: -114dBm a discontinuous receive (DRX) mode for lowpower FSK: -108dBm operation, which is configured through a serial interface Selectable IF BW with External Filter bus.
