The MX25L1606EM1I-12G is a part from the MX25xxx06 series, a 16-Mbit (x 1/x 2) 86 MHz industrial grade serial flash manufactured by Macronix. It is an 8-pin SOP package and features memory density of 16 Mbit, clock frequency (max) of 86 MHz and a program/erase performance of 150/50 ns respectively. This part has international 25-years retention, 1 million program/erase cycles and data retention of 20 years. Additionally, it offers a maximum clock frequency of 20 MHz, and is used in applications such as automotive, consumer electronics, wireless and industrial. The operating voltage range of the part is 2.5-3.6V. It also has an integrated controller to support XIP (Execute in Place) function and hardware or software write protection.
