Additional Infomation About Product

The HY2113-MB1A is a Battery Protection IC manufactured by HYCON, packaged in a SOT-23-6 form factor and compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substance (RoHS) directive. It is designed to protect an individual cell lithium-ion battery from excessive charge and discharge conditions. It contains voltage and current detection circuits along with a MOSFET switch circuit. The output of HY2113-MB1A is an open drain N-channel MOSFET which is active when the battery pack voltage is below 2.5V (discharge protection) or above 4.5V (charge protection). The IC can handle up to 2A charge/discharge current. The device also includes an over-temperature protection circuit which shuts off the MOSFET switch if the temperature exceeds + 150°C.
