ElectronThe AMS1117-1.8 is a voltage regulator with a low dropout voltage (LDO) from Huaguan Electron. It is packaged in a SOT 223 RoHS compliant package, and is designed to provide a single fixed output voltage of 1.8V. The device features low quiescent current, low dropout voltage, and good line regulation making it ideal for low noise, low power applications such as battery powered circuits. Applications include precision digital circuits, PCMCIA cards, pointof-sale systems, audio and video equipment, and other portable or consumer electronics products. The device is also designed to work with a wide variety of input voltage, ranging from 1.5V to 20V. The AMS1117-1.8 is an excellent choice for high accuracy and reliable operation in portable battery-powered applications.
