2D226 is a high performance, programmable digital security system designed and manufactured by Honeywell to provide advanced intrusion detection and alarm monitoring. It is a complete, integrated system that includes several components, such as: an Advanced Control Panel (ACP), Access Control Keypad (ACK), Access Control System (ACS), Input/Output Modules, Digital Communicators, and Digital Keypad. This system features advanced functions, such as 128-bit encryption for secure communication, radio and network intervention capabilities, and password protection for additional security. It also features an array of prompting, alarming and reporting features for end-users, including wireless remote programming, entry/exit monitoring, and visual/audio/electronic alarms.
