The FR157G is a fast recovery rectifier diode made by Galaxy in a DO-15 plastic package with RoHS compliant lead-free terminations. This component has a reverse voltage (Vr) of 400V and a forward current (If) of 1.5A. Its reverse recovery time (trr) is 9.3ns, and its maximum junction temperature is 150°C. It is used mainly for rectifying and filtering applications, such as power supplies and ripple reduction in DC-DC converters.
