The Furse ESP 240-5A/BX is an earthing protection system designed for use in electrical and telecommunication installations. It is a five-pole system of robustly constructed, modular units that provide maximum protection from lightning and other overvoltage sources. It consists of a main Earth electrode, five interconnecting radial earth electrodes, and a network component dispersed around the installation to provide earth fault protection. The ESP 240-5A/BX earth protection system ensures that any high voltage incident or arising is quickly dispersed, and the earth fault current will be safely neutralized.
