It is a 32-bit device with an operating voltage of 2.5V to 4.5V and it has a powerful instruction set including 16-bit wide instructions, 8-bit wide instructions, and a wide range of arithmetic optionally interchangeable with 16-bit and 8-bit instructions. It features I/O ports in the 32-bit space, with analog and digital input/output functions, serial communications and other processor peripherals providing ease of programming while allowing for a wide range of designs. It also includes an instruction compatible MultiCAN/CANopen Protocol (ModelCANN) to provide the capability to work with fieldbus systems.
