The ES7144S is an audio processor IC manufactured by Everest Semiconductor. It is a multi-chip module containing two audio codecs in a single package, housed in a TSSOP-10 (Thin Shrink Small Outline Package) package with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliance. The ICs offer audio formatting and control functions, audio enhancement processing, digitally programmable audio parameters as well as user-programmable audio effects. They also feature integrated analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and digital-to-analog converter (DAC). The ES7144S ICs provide 24-bit stereo audio with dynamic range exceeding 90 dB and sample rates up to 48 kHz. The module supports multiple audio interfaces including I2S, left-justified, right-justified and PCM for interfacing with DSPs, microprocessors and audio subsystems.
