The Diotec BC847B is a small-signal surface-mount NPN Bipolar Junction Transistor (BJT). It is designed for general-purpose low-noise amplifications and switching applications. It is available in a small SOT-23 package and has a maximum collector current of 500mA. The BC847B has a low noise figure of 1.3dB, with a high linearity of 22.5dB. It also features a low base-emitter turn-on voltage of typically 0.65V and a 30mA maximum base current.
