1. The Diotec 5KP100A is a surface mount 5KP series Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode. 2. This diode is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage spikes, such as those caused by lightning strikes or other electric blasts. 3. It has a gap voltage of 10V and a peak power of 1.5 kW. 4. The device features a small package size of 0.14 x 0.25 inch and it has a current rating of 1.5A. 5. Operating temperature range is from -55°C to +125°C and the diode can handle repetitive peak power dissipation up to 10W.
