:The DIOFIT 1N5408 is a general purpose diode with a 1kV maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage (PVRM) and 3A maximum continuous forward current (I(F) rating. It is designed for use as a rectifier in alternating current (AC) power supplies, voltage regulators, free-wheeling diodes, and reverse-bias protection for semiconductor devices. The diode is packaged in a DO-27 RoHS package for easy installation and comes with a thermal resistance rating of 1.2V @ 3A. This diode is RoHS compliant and is manufactured by DIOFIT.
