The Chilpom CP2155DN10-A1 is a LED driver in a DFN-10 package that complies with RoHS industry standards. It is an extremely low-voltage, high-frequency DC/DC converter designed to efficiently drive LED backlighting circuitry in LCD display panels. The CP2155DN10-A1 has a wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 36V and a switching frequency range of 200 KHz to 500 KHz and is capable of delivering an output current up to 15A in a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The CP2155DN10-A1 also features a programmable soft-start mode, an adjustable LED switching frequency, and a burst mode for lowest component count and cost. This chip also contains built-in protection circuits for LED open/short and output over-voltage protection.
