The BL24C32A is a 32Kb (4K x 8) EEPROM manufactured by Belling that integrates an I2C interface in a thin small outline package (TSSOP8). It is RoHS-compliant, making it environmentally friendly due to the absence of lead in the production process. The device can perform read/write operations on up to 128 bytes at a time and is accessed and controlled using the I2C interface. Its capabilities include block write protection, multiple "word"-level write protection, and 16-bit addressing. The device also supports 1 million erase/write cycles per block, a typical access time of 5ms, and a power down retention of 2.5mA
