LTC6560 Single Channel Transimpedance Amplifier with Output Multiplexing FEATURES DESCRIPTION n 220MHz 3dB Bandwidth with 2pF Input The LTC 6560 is a low-noise, transimpedance ampli- Capacitance fier (TIA) with 220MHz bandwidth. The LTC6560s low n Single-Ended Output noise, high transimpedance and low power dissipation are n 74k Transimpedance Gain ideal for LIDAR receivers using avalanche photodiodes n 4.8pA/Hz Input Current Noise Density at 200MHz (APDs). The LTC6560 features 74k transimpedance (2pF) gain and 30A linear input current range. Using an input n 64nA Integrated Input Current Noise Over circuit with a total input capacitance of 2pF, the input cur- RMS 200MHz (2pF) rent noise density is 4.8pA/Hz at 200MHz. With lower n Linear Input Range 0A to 30A capacitance, noise and bandwidth improve further. The n Overload Current > 400mA Peak LTC6560 operates from a single 5V supply and consumes n Fast Overload Recovery: 1mA in 10ns only 90mW. Utilizing the LTC6560s output MUX, multiple n Fast Output MUXing: <50ns LTC6560 devices can be combined to a single output. n Single 5V Supply The LTC6560s fast overload recovery and fast output n 90mW Power Dissipation MUXing make it well suited for LIDAR receivers with mul- n 2V Output Swing on 100 Load tiple APDs. Its single-ended output can swing 2V on P-P P-P n 3mm 3mm, 16-Lead QFN Package a 100 load.
