POWER LOSS (W) LT8619/LT8619-5 60V, 1.2A Synchronous Monolithic Buck Regulator with 6A Quiescent Current FEATURES DESCRIPTION n The LT 8619 is a compact, high efficiency, high speed Wide Input Voltage Range: 3V to 60V n synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator Fast Minimum Switch-On Time: 30ns n that consumes only 6A of quiescent current. The LT8619 Ultralow Quiescent Current Burst Mode Operation: n can deliver 1.2A of continuous current. Top and bottom 6A I Regulating 12V to 3.3V Q IN OUT n power switches are included with all necessary circuitry 10mV Output Ripple at No Load P-P n to minimize the need for external components. Low ripple Synchronizable/Programmable Fixed Frequency Burst Mode operation enables high efficiency down to Forced Continuous Mode Operation: 300kHz very low output currents while keeping the output ripple to2.2MHz n to 10mV . A SYNC pin allows forced continuous mode High Efficiency Synchronous Operation: P-P n operation synchronized to an external clock. Internal com- 92% Efficiency at 0.5A, 5V from 12V OUT IN n pensation with peak current mode topology allows the use 90% Efficiency at 0.5A, 3.3V from 12V OUT IN n of small inductors and results in fast transient response Low Dropout: 360mV at 0.5A n and good loop stability. The EN/UV pin has an accurate 1V Low EMI n threshold and can be used to program V undervoltage Accurate 1V Enable Pin Threshold IN n lockout or to shut down the LT8619, reducing the input Internal Soft-Start and Compensation n supply current to below 0.6A. The PG flag signals when Power Good Flag n V is within 7.5% of the programmed output voltage.
