Additional Infomation About Product

Gaisler 18AH-03 is a configurable Multi rate crosspoint switch used to control data transfers at different speeds on a high speed interconnect. It is based on the Gaisler GRLIB IP-core which has been designed for use in aerospace applications. It provides a selection of eight user-selectable data rates from 2.5Gbps to 12.5Gbps. The switch is capable of routing data from one source to multiple destinations and vice versa, providing a flexible solution for time division multiplexing and multiplexing of Ethernet and fibre-channel traffic. It features a look-up table for mapping routes, configurable FIFO depth for buffering, and a flow control for arbitration between multiple sources. It also includes an optional lossy-mode that reduces the data rates in order to accommodate traffic with higher data rates.
