The AMS1117 is a low dropout regulator (LDO) with positive adjustable output from 1.3V up to 15V. It has a 1.25V dropout voltage at 11.75V and a maximum output current of 800mA. This regulator is packaged in a SOT-223 surface mount package that is RoHS compliant and manufactured by Advanced Monolithic Systems.
