The AMS1117-5.0 is a low dropout regulator (LDO) manufactured by Advanced Monolithic Systems. It is a positive, fixed 1.3V device with an output current capability of 1A. The device features an adjustable output voltage from 1.2 to 5V and is packaged in a RoHS compliant, SOT-223 form factor. The device boasts a maximum input voltage of 15V, low dropout voltage, fast transient response and Thermal Shut Down protection.
