The Advanced Monolithic Systems AMS1085cm is a low dropout regulator (LDO), positive adjustable, with a voltage range of 1.3V and 3A power Rating. Its operating range is 15V with a minimum output voltage of 1.25V and 12V @ 3A. This device is supplied in a TO-263-3 package and is RoHS compliant. Its features include a low operating current with an enable/disable pin to control shutdown mode when necessary. Additionally, the AMS1085cm offers reverse current protection to further enhance its safety and protection. It is also designed for thermal protection to protect the device from thermal overloads. This device is ideal for use in power sensitive applications such as mobile and automotive electronics, communications, and automatic control systems.
