It operates from a norminal input voltage of 2.7V to 4.2V, and monitors and maintains battery charge levels with protection against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, and external short conditions. The device is available in the SOT-23-6 (RoHS compliant) package and features a built-in NTC resistor for thermal monitoring, an open drain output, and an internal high accuracy voltage monitor for the load switch. It also provides a sleep mode for improved power management, and safety timer for over-discharge protection.
